In 2011, we will focus on:
(1) General Plan Implementation (which will include rewrite of the subdivision and zoning ordinances, community planning, issue of historic parcel recognition, defining farm stay and agritourism, and assuring that global warming is addressed within one of the first amendments to the General Plan).
(2) Water, including an Integrated Regional Water Management Plan, a water quality and quantity study for Mariposa County, and establishing socio-economic indicators for our County’s watersheds.
(3) Forests and watershed management. We will work with federal, state and local agencies to ensure forests are sustainably managed and the sources of our water are properly protected.
