In
the spring of 1990, MERG became aware that other
jurisdictions had a time at the start of a supervisors'
meeting for public comment. When we reviewed the Brown Act
in our county, we found that the paragraph allowing public
comment had been deleted from the document. We brought this
to county counsel's attention and were successful at having
it reinstated-------an important factor is our public
process.
